First thing you're going to do before you even start to gel nail or gel polish both are same. Your nails you're going to use nail polish remover to remove any nail polish. Nail buffer lightly buff your nails to clean the surface.

Today I'm going to share you how to do your own gel nails at home using an LED lamb. I know gel manicures are kind of controversial and some people really don't like the idea of them but I'm going to show you guys how I do mine all the way from prepping the nail to finishing off the manicure.

Then I take a little lint or cotton with some rubbing alcohol and I just clean off all the nails get anything that could be left behind you just want to make sure that you've got the nail surface entirely clean.

nail this makes it so that the base coat can stronger adhere to your nail giving you more longevity out of the Polish.

Now you're going to apply your gel base coat you want to do a thin even layer over each nail.

how I do that but just apply a thin even layer of gel to each nail and then once you're finished

you're going to cure your Polish I'm using an LED lamb and mine cures for 30 seconds.

Now apply your gel color same as the base coat you want to do even thin coats covering the nail I do

my all fingers.

So I'm just going to do all nail of these fingers even thin coats same thing with color you're going to

cure for 30 to 60 seconds or depending on if you have a UV or LED lamb whatever your curing time is and then once you've cured you're going to apply your second layer of gel same technique thin even

Coats then after your second coat of polish you're going to cure again you want to make sure that you're curing in between each layer of Polish then you can go in with your top coat and same technique we're going to do thin even coats just covering each nail once you're finished with top coat you're going to pop that back in the LED lamb and cure it.

Top coat glows under the light which I really like because then I can make sure I've gotten it over

each nail. apply a last layer of topcoat and you're going to cure that for another 60 seconds and then repeat the same process on the other hand then once your nails are all done caring you're going to take that cotton pad again with some more rubbing alcohol and rub your nails all off. the finishing wipe behind this residual goo and you want to make sure that you get all of that off of your nails. so that you're not attracting lint in hair and getting stuff stuck to your nails, so give them all a good wipe down with some rubbing alcohol.
